Oh man...well firstly it sounded like he played one long droning song for a whole hour. No energy, just this reaaaally slow boring song. Serious to god, i've never been so bored in my whole life. :snore:

It was painful to watch.

It was like from the second he stepped on stage he just couldn't be bothered.

Each of his songs were like 20mins long!!!!

I just bored myself to death watching it again on the highlights programme while looking for us in the crowd.

:stunned:

haha if the camera would of averted to you lot while he was playing...i bet we wouldnt get a surprise if you lot were asleep, all piled on top of each over in a heap :laugh4:

Oh man i'll piss myself if im on TV! :laugh4: At first I tried to look interested and be polite and clap etc, but after a while I just put my head down and had my eyes closed lol!

I swear he was looking down at the crowd sometimes...time really did stand still then...he was wearing a pvc tshirt too...ewwwww. Just grumpy man, didnt play any of his famous songs either.

well....at least i didnt see the highlights ay!

yea i guess its common curtesy to be polite to the act on stage...but if they are not being very 'hosty' themselves to the crowd...then why should they be back..its a two way operation

Ewwww yeah! It looked like a binliner! :sick2:

LMAO. I thought. ohhh god....an old man wearing a "sexy" leather tshirt....BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sick2:

Tell me about it Kara, I thought I was gonna yack! :sick2:

Exactly!!! That's why I gave up in the end! If he cant make the effort then fuck it, im not going to!

you go girl!

three people now saying the same thing...its a record

I think I was hanging over the railing, PRAYING he would go away. It was such a relief when he went off....he didnt even do a "last" song to me...just rambled on then went off.

I didn't realise he had actually gone off, I was soo bored I had gone to get some food!!

Sarah - you LEFT to get food during the one and only Lou Reed??!?!? HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!! :shocked3:

:laugh4:

I was looking forward to seeing him, because I like some of his songs, but when he didn't play anything I knew, thats when I had had enough. Shame really as that will probably be the only time I will ever catch him live.

Sorry!! I was hungry and I wanted something to eat before the boys came on!!

That was a good decision. I would have had I not been guarding my front row place...it was torture I tell you. LOL

I bet. It would have been horrendous trying to get back through that crowd, and when you got down to the front, your space would have gone!!! :shocked2:

Oh man it was awful. Me and Graham had this phycho dude trying to squeeze inbetween us...he kept breathing down my neck to try and piss me off, fucking weirdo! and then was pressed up behind me when there was still plenty of room. So I asked him to move because it was hot enough as it was without him right up against me. But then he kept edging his hand onto the barrier so in the end just elbowed his hand, lol! He was so desperate, it was weird.

He never got through though...mwuahahahaa :sneaky::D

^ Good on you!! I hate it when that happens. I would have probably told them to f*** off and if that didn't make any difference I would have probably stepped back onto their foot and pressed down rather hard!! :laugh3:

When I saw hard-fi, some idiots who turned up after the support acts thought they could elbow their way onto the barrier....so I repeatedly trod on his foot (like your suggestion). grrrrrrr
