australia's a great country. really it is. and screw the distance, i'm sure you'd enjoy it here. i know who you should ask. if you can find 'gentleparachute' on these boards --> check the aussie fans thread in the coldplay live section, and pm her. she's from malaysia (i think :o ) and she came to aus at the beginning of this year and she's starting uni here and everything. she said she's enjoying it here so maybe you could pm her and ask her about her experiences, the cost, the country? i'm sure she'd be willing to share her experiences :nice:

Not at all...a lot of people don't really follow football unless there's a world tournament on, and England are a pretty strong team. My unbiased opinion would say that they're going to achieve at least the quarter finals

should I stop eating (at school) so I can save some money or should I eat at school and forget about having some money for random stuff?

 

Ah a common dilemma. You should probably at least try and save the money and make something at home, but obviously time doesn't always allow that.

question: should i cut my hair? i have school photos next tuesday when we get back from holidays. it's our final year so final photos and my photos always look the same because i can be boring like that.

I understand that women find having their hair cut rather therapeutic, so it's probably worth doing. Also, if it is your final pictures at the school, I'd imagine you'd want to look presentable

I assume you mean the saxophone ;) Everyone loves a bit of jazz I guess. It's an instrument I'd be interesting in learning actually. I can play the cornet, but a wind instrument is quite appealing. Can't really afford to buy one though :s

I do acting and singing with an amateur company, doing musicals and pantomimes. We're currently rehearsing for a concert of songs from musicals.

Definitely. I've noticed quite a decrease since the mid-90s of music containing saxophones, I always used to love it in the middle of the song when the solo would kick in!!

Oh Madness are brilliant..such fun stuff to dance about to. I wish I owned some of their cd's actually, I only really hear them on the radio. Ah yes, Aretha's not too bad either :D

hehe....I tried to play the sax solo in the middle of "respect"....unfortunately I play a tenor saxophon....and this is definitely too low for it....ok...I could try to play those mega high tones...but my sax is not the newesr.....grr...I need a new one..ok I want a new one...
