Well it depends really. We have some schools here that call themselves colleges, when really, they're schools, they just have a special government backing. My old school was apparently a technology college, but in my view, any place that teaches kids from 11 is most definitely a school

why was Coldplay's latest effort such a let down? Not that it was a complete let dow, but given the sneak peak we were given, and all hype.. why was I still dissapointed once the album was released? :(

sam's right. in australia at least it's completely different to the way colleges operate in the uk or usa or wherever. some high schools are called colleges here, such as mine. and yeah as sam said i think it's only a few of the religious high schools that are called it.

 

uni is straight after you finish high school here, so be you 17 or 18 when you finish, that's where you go if you decide to. there are other places like TAFE which you could go to after high school. i think that would be the equivalent of an actual college in the usa or wherever. you could do a bridging course or something there, and then go to uni after as a mature age student. :idea2:

Because instead of writing their own album, they decided they'd nick bits of everyone else's while overly using the studio to change the sound, making it tremendously false

thanks anyone who answered. ahhh it's just that i'm thinking of going to study in australia after i finish my own stage of education but i don't really know where i should apply to, like what's the system. :wacko: ahh so difficult. and it'll cost fuckloads. i'm turning 18 now, will be 19 though when i finish so i guess it'll have to be some university to go with then :thinking:
