Well, everyone wants a band to do really well when they're new on the scene. Then once they get really popular it's like everyone's all "omg I want my little indy boys back!". I just don't know why that is? Coldplay isn't the biggest band in the world, they're incredibly popular, but they're not THE biggest band in the world (although they might be to us).

It's just, bands can't stand still. If they did, people would be complaining about THAT, you know? People grow up, their lives change, that obviously affects the music. I feel bad for them, seems like no matter what it's lose-lose-win, with the fans.

hmmm i guess some or most people, they want to go back to the times when the band was in their beginnings because it's somethign you have all to yourselves.

example? you find a treasure that no one else knows about. the treasure looks so beautiful to you and you feel a special attachment to it. but once everyone finds out about it, they either want it too or they'll ruin it for you by pointing out flaws.
