The All-Time Top 500 Albums (based on UK charts)

How Does The Chart Work?

The chart has been compiled using a pro-rata points formula based on a No. 1 album receiving 100 points for each week at the top. Points for all other positions vary based on the size of the chart for a particular week. Bonus points are also given for each week an album is at number one. The chart compilation and points formula calculation are ©2004-2006

you're right, loads of great albums finished behind Coldplay, but that's only based on chart positions, which doesn't mean a lot(you know, britney spears had a better position than the most of Radiohead albums and that's why it's shit, not because of coldplay)

still, Coldplay have done better in some other lists

113. Britney Spears - ‘...Baby One More Time’

:D

she's soooo talented

those charts make no sense at all!

what matters is Coldplay's music, not their positions!

77 is a high position for top 500 of all-time.

coldplay exist like 10 years, and simon and garfunkel is like forever.
