Have you ever experienced an earthquake?A tornado?A flood?a volcanic eruption?

Well...I can remember that we once had a weak earthquake.....it was not that bad...I live in an area where things like that are rare....so I can't imagine experiencing something like a real tornado or something like thta....I'm glad about that...

and there's a ton of earthquakes below 5.0 here...

edit: oh and i was in cancun, and the lobby of our hotel was kinda flooded cuz it was raining pretty freaking hard, but that always happens there... lol

Hello I am new to this forum but just had to say I moved from England to Scotland and it is not cold or boring loads to do

but I see your point I thought the same before I moved here

They had severe flooding last year in carlisle though

Nothing on the scale of New Orleans, but I went through a nasty killer hurricaine here afew years ago.

Hurricaine Juan was supposed to fizzle out before it hit the province, just like hurricaines alwas do this far north, but instead it got stronger. I heard it turned out to be a strong category 2 or a weak category 3. It was traumatic. We lost a ton of shingles off our roof, and several of the trees in our yard blew down. The power was out for days. The city was barely recognizable so many trees had fallen down ripping up sidewalks, tearing down powerlines, and squashing cars and houses on the way. One fell on our shed. I really don't see how people further south go through these every year. Once in a lifetime was more than enough.

I felt an earthquake when I made holidays on the Spanish Canarian Island of Tenerife in 2002. It was in the morning and I woke up, because the cupboard moved a bit. :D
