Hey all,

just wondering what song coldplay start with at their concerts now?

Is it Square One, or politik.....or im thinking that it is both...

 

Also, how does it end....what song....and how do the encores work???

 

Lastly, before they start....how long is it until they come on after the supporting act? and is there backing music in the background? or yeh...

They usually start with Square One, and the second song is politik. Usually they end the concert with fix you. There is one encore. They usually play "talk" and then do the whole, "see you, goodnight" thing and walk off. Then about 5 minutes later they come back out for the encore. The encore is 3 songs. Usually Swallowed in the sea, In my Place, and Fix you are in the encore. It usually takes about 45 minutes for all the stuff to be set up and before they come on after the supporting act. There is backing music, and its mostly rap for some reason. It kinda gets annoying after a while.

hmm, is it really good/loud when they start?

also, (i know it depends on where they're playing) but if you're up the front, is it really crowded?

 

Also, do the band do any talking inbetween songs, and if so, is it just Chris, or do Jonny, Will and Guy give a bit of imput?

if your referring to LIVE 2003. But im wondering, because it has been 3 years since then, and they might've changed since then...

So, if anyone who's been to a concert lately and can answer the questions, that'd be really good.

They have change since 2003.. Audience too.. But the audience are different in different contries.. Like in Norway there were very crowded.. But in USA there isnt crowded at all.. So where are you going to see them?

Up front is always crowded.

Stay away from the speakers.

square one and maybe white shadows, and if they play low he sings there too

no, unfortunately, cept i hav good tickets for the one i am going 2...

They've sold out about 10 shows in Australia...so its not too rare

coz it's common for other bands to meet their fans after the show..

but don't know whether coldplay will do so..

In My Place is usually their second song in their encore set. Trouble is sometimes played, but sometimes they play Green Eyes instead. Yellow is the third song they play. Scientist is closer to the end, and unfortunately, Daylight is not played at all (this is going off the setlist from February, I have no idea if they've changed anything since then, but as far as I know, Daylight has never been played on the Twisted Logic Tour).
