V for Vendetta...one of the most impressive movie i've seen lately....i haven't seen any thread about it but it deserves one i think.. (if there is already one, sorry)..

Hugo Weaving's act was adorable...

--however one thing was wrong in the film..they made a good research but missed one point:

there is no such country or region called kurdistan...

maybe and could you show its flag national anthem and the capital city? i hope you don't think the capital is Diyarbakır (which they claim so but it's a Turkish city :) )

Yes I have seen that movie and found it to be very good, not like most movies, but very good nonetheless.

it was a bit different as you said..and a man who is only seen behind a mask couldn't have been more charismatic...

yaay, I saw that film and I liked it pretty much, and like you I think it deserves a thread. Before seeing it, I thought it was one of those films which has a lot of action but not an interesting enough plot - that happens quite times - but I was wrong! :D

I didn't realize they made that mistake. Anyway, I think it was a great film... I loved how Vendetta and Natalie Portman performed and the special love/friendship they had.

oh, and its dialogues/sentences were deep... and not one of those nonsenses that we usually can see in the cinema nowadays.

this one that you've written was really good! :)

Yes, it was very good. One of my favourite movies, definitely.

i watched it today and it was really really impressive.. one of my favourite movies. i liked all the sentences , messages.. it was a genius work!

and a big mistake! there is no country called kurdistan! Hugo Weaving was adorable! so was Natalie Portman..

i decided to buy the comic book :)

let's talk this "imaginary" issue in another thread :) i know what's going on near (or let's say "in") my country although i'm not very interested in politics and geography itself..

....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurdistan

Nd might I add...even if it was a "mistake" like u said maybe they ment to do that....I sure as hell know that there's no actual "Gotham City"!!!!

Jeez its a movie doesnt mean it has to be all real...sheesh! :)

TAKE THAT! OHHHHHHH!

There, and please check your globe

haha you tell us to learn our globe!!! are you aware of the fact that imaginary and so -called kurdistan is on Turkey's , Iraq's vs. land? So you must check your country's archieves. maybe you'll find that it hasn't been recognized!!:) kurdistan is just a piece of land which kurds mostly live ..it is not a state!

ok ok forget it :) ..in fact 90% of people who've seen the movie probably didn't realize that kurdistan word...but when i heard it together with one or two (i don't remember) country names, it just disturbed me because there still exist people who think/know kurdistan is a country..i just wanted to note that it is not...

so what about the movie?? how could V be that comfortable and elastic with that heavy armour after he had been shot several times :D :P

----------------------------------

It was definitely a refreshing movie .. and V was an incredibly charismatic character, especially for a man behind a mask.
