june 7 2005. i had my last exam, went out to ice cream with my friends, like WETTING MY PANTS to get the CD, heard SoS in the ic cream place and said "we HAVE to go to the mall. NOW" because i couldnt wait any longer, and bought it. LAST COPY on the shelf at the mall, too.

 

ive liked coldplay since AROBTTH (my mom had the CD), but i really only knew clocks and IMP. then i saw the SoS video last may (may??) and FELL IN LOVE. love at first sight, really. i first fell in love with the way chris moved, then the song. that's still my favorite video. i once traced my whole coldplay history. its quite long.

 

i bought X&Y on vinyl in march 2006. i wish i had it sooner. im probably going to wear out the grooves playing it.

In fact, I was starting school pretty late that day, so when shops opened, I was already there in front of the door... waiting for the opening to get X&Y!

Then I had plenty of time before school, so I went into a park, sat on a bench, and listened. beautiful.

it's such a weird thought... i remember telling my dad to get me the cd first thing in the morning as i went to school. he did and i took the bus/ran home haha. i had heard maybe 4 songs of the cd before i got it. what a day it was.

Same- Well I've always liked Coldplay's since I first heard yellow- but after SOS was released i was like "I've GOT to get this album!" And after that i bought the other two and i absolutely fell in love! :angry: - But my mean, mean mother made me wait until JULY to get the damn CD - she's tired of lending me money :rolleyes:
