US team makes 'changes' for Italy

Freaking make-up call. That was not a red card. I'm serious. You can flame me or call me stupid, but that was not a red card. Yes it was a late tackle but he did get some of the ball and some of the Italian players were just trying to get a call. And they did. I'm being dead serious when I say this- it is the United States versus the world. They were even talking about the added security and the fact that the U.S. doesn't even label their bus. I just hope the U.S. can pull off a win and show that we don't suck. This is ridiculous. One of the reasons I can't stand watching sports sometimes. Arghhh. Makes me mad.

Sorry for my rant. :embarassed:

anyone see the English flag with 'Killers'?

:stunned: can't say that I did!! Imagine that..... the reputation of the Americans tainted..... :stunned:

this is exactly what is so sad about it!! I soooo wish we were as into 'soccer' as say Englad is, or Ireland for that matter... even Mexico! This is why I think most of us rag on the US team so much... I hope they prove everyone wrong.. but, its unlikely.. its like Ian said some post back... if you're as into "footy" as everyone in Europe is.. then you know Italy is grood.

same as in Australia, now there is so much hype after the Japan win

they're even having a mini-concert on a channel that never gave a shit about football before (except aussie football) before the Brazil match lol.

Now everyones like yeah we're gona win the World Cup (lol)
