it really frustrates me when people say sorry and dont mean it. they just expect that word to be the magic healer and everythings all good.

 

just recently there was an issue where i had someone say sorry to me........somehow i didnt believe he was truly sorry otherwise the issue wouldnt have happened in the first place. 'sorry' doesnt fix things, it just takes some of the heat away from a situation. argh

sorry is an easy word to say. you can say sorry and not mean it with ease...but your right, to say sorry and mean it is a very hard thing to do

Agh, I hate being in a relationship where I keep fucking things up and then consistently sorry, about every 2-3 days. To the point where it just sounds meaningless, but I still am genuinely sorry.

I agree with you. I have one friend who recently told me he sent a text message to another friend apologising and he added "You know, I'm good at saying sorry via text messages" - and I just thought "Why even fucking up all the time, that's better than having to apologise!"

And "sorry" by text doesn't mean anything at all, anyway. It should be said face to face, or not at all.;)

sorry + but = a combination that should be avoided...

 

Actions speak louder than words... if someone is truly sorry they will make an effort to make things better if it's possible.

 

Usually I don't like it when someone just says "sorry" and that's it... or they say sorry and then they don't try to be nice about it...
