^I read the manual and it said you could only have it on one computer at a time, so I was wondering if you can't have it on 2 computers could you uninstall it off of one to install on the other?

Where is it written it can only be installed on one pc? I guess there are only iTunes and the Ipod software in that CD (I already had iTunes installed in my laptop and then the software and the drivers for the iPod autoinstalled as soon as I connected it).

So i don't think you should have any problem to install it in any other pc :)

 

oh and just to make you sure about it, in the iPod guide it's written "Put the iPod CD in your computer and install the iTunes and iPod software.

If you already have iTunes and iPod software on your computer, it's best to install the latest software from the CD included with iPod or from the web at www.apple.com/ipod"
