So here's the question: What do you think which Coldplay song has the best lyrics?

If you want to you can also write your intertpretation and why you think that these lyrics are the best....that would be interesting i think.

 

anyway; for me its The Scientist.

Because i can identifiy with the lyrics very well. From the logic and science to love. From "easy question", which you can answer with logic, to the difficult ones your heart asks. These questions and problems are much more difficult because you often don't get the answer, doesn't matter how much you think about it. Sometimes this thinking even makes it worse. In Science this won't happen to you.

But on the other hand you love is so beautiful to ignore it and take the easy way. As he says question of science do not speak as loud as my heart.

 

Of course you dont have to write so much. maybe i was just looking for a way to tell you what i think about the song.

I don't know about a particular song, they are all good for different reasons and depending on the mood I'm in. All I know is that my fav lyrics of all time of any band are 'For you I'd bleed myself dry.' I'm getting them tattooed on my lower back with four stars representing my family members....lol double meaning. Love for family and love for Coldplay :D

I Ran Away's lyrics are exciting and they mean a lot to me.

Yellow, In my Place, The Scientist. And both Sparks and Proof for the sheer simplicity yet earnestness in them. Very beautiful. :)

Even if I find them quite difficult to understand (may be because I come from a spanish speaking country) I think "Don´t panic" lyrics are great. They fill you with an optimistic spirit. I also like "A rush of blood to the head", I would like a lot of people to read those lyrics specially at this moments of war we are living.
