August 15, 200619 yr Author I think in this country, to get into some univerities now because so many people are getting A's at A-level (I think someone said it's about 25% getting As), and with no-way to determine a borderline A (a 480/600) between a high A (say 590/600), it's getting harder, you need to do an entry exam, so they know what your skills are. Although with the new A-level system which is planned for a couple years time, I read you have to do a 5000 word essay on somestuff which is marked and counts towards your final grade, and the uni gets to see that essay. But 5000 words, I only had to do a 4000 word report for my AAT Unit 10, although I had to use formal business language.
August 15, 200619 yr Author Hopefully. It's a case of waiting for the site not to be so busy to log in and see the results. Soon most exam results will be given out over the internet.
August 15, 200619 yr yeah, you can check your SAT scores online, but they dont do AP like that. yet. and the new SAT requires an essay you have to write in 25 minutes about a random topic that you've never heard about. Like "do you agree with the philosophical and logical reasoning of why stonewall jackson attacked so and so army on so and so date?"

August 16, 200619 yr Author There will be tears of joy and sadness tomorrow when the a-level results come out, as teenagers who have been studying for the past 2 years await for their results. Tears of joy as people did better than they expected, but tears of sadness as they don't do as well as they had hoped for.

August 16, 200619 yr Author the A levels are coming out today at midnight ' date=' does anyone know how to get them off the internet? I don't want to go to school to get them,[/quote'] I believe edexcel were running a trial this year for exam results by website, but that was only a selected number. So either you got to go to school or hand in a SAE to get them posted to you. In a couple years time though it will be internet.
