Starlight
^^You are from Connecticut! I have cousins up there, and I sometimes visit! What part of Connecticut are you from?

Lifelike
i think it would be cool to release a b-side CD' date=' but for some reason i think its a bit nice to have b-sides that you have to search a little bit harder for and that not everybody (except for us die-hards) knows about. its like a secret bonus for people like us or something[/quote']Â I think they should release the easier to find ones... not the really rare ones. I would rather find those on my own and keep them secret. But I think some of the more popular or more recent, easy to find b-sides would look great on a compilation CD. Not the early, early stuff. I don't think they'd release it anyway. (Fine by me. Coldplay's early stuff is great anyway.)
TraceOddity
I consider myself a die-hard fan, but until a few months ago, I'd never heard Crests Of Waves or I Ran Away. You just can't buy the singles where I live. I was so thrilled to come across them...and the fact that I had to dig for them and others made them all the more special! ! The friend I visited in East Grinstead last week is a casual fan. So, playing my b-side collection for her was really cool. She felt like she was getting a little secret that most fans don't get, and I got to be the one letting her in on it...sooooo cool!!!:laugh3: :laugh3:

Starlight
I love Proof. Sometimes when I hear it, it makes me cry..
watermelonc1
i dont like hearing coldplay b-sides in public. there's a really selfish reason, but i just dont like the fact that public know their b-sides, lets just keep them for coldplaying.com :P my friends told me they heard the world turned upside down and another coldplay bootlegs in a local radio, and i hate the radio so much. so i think b-sides gaining popularity. that was what you asked, right? rayman
I know there was post on here a while ago about someone hearing "Sleeping Sun" at The Gap...apparently they play B Sides by Coldplay and The Killers, my two favorite bands...this makes me very happy... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32613
Fixed
Releasing Gravity could prove problematic as the world and his wife would be in uproar saying "How dare Coldplay cover that classic Embrace song!"
Fixed
On the subject of Gravity, I recently downloaded a studio version, not live. It's mostly Chris on piano but I can detect some synths in the background I think and possibly Will backing vocals :S Or maybe I that was wishful thinking, but I'm sure it's more than just Chris + piano. Edit: Just found out this is the Gravity which is on the X&Y Dutch special edition, so you probably all have it anyway.
