R.E.M=Trash!

I'm having issues with them at the moment! :lol: :lol: dun dun dun.... :dozey:

If these issues are personal, I understand, but R.E.M. can not be considered trash if you like current rock music. They pretty much definited the idea of alternative rock throughout the eighties. Their cross-over success of Out of Time, although a HUGE departure from their previous works, layed the groundwork for many fans' paths to many of the rock successes of the last ten years (RHCP comes to mind immediately).

Lately, they might not be that great, so maybe their eck now and talent in the past. Just as with the comments on CSNY, I think people are forgetting or don't know enough about the paths music has been down.

well I was never really a fan but I liked some of their songs but now I just can't stand to hear them! they are a little depressing to listen to :rolleyes:

I disagree with your comment about "R.E.M cannot be considered trash if you like current rock music" because that is stereotypical! I do like current rock music but they are a big too gloomy for my liking so I'm just sticking with my opinions :)

Explain to me how that comment is stereotypical?

Is a lecture really needed every time you disagree with something?

No.

Feel free not to read them, Divide.

It will save you some posts.

Why am I still being called Divide? There is no longer anyone here with that name.

Because that's how we know you! It's like your name... and now you just got a new name and we're afraid of change!!!

OH... Travis
