hey leire, i think they are called fighter fish. not the actual scientific name but i had 2 of them and they MUST be separated or they will kill each other even though it's kinda mesmerising to watch :stunned:

yes i know.it scared me cos all the ppl tell to put another fish in the tank cos they dont want to see "fish" alone.....but i dont want "fish" to kill other fishes.

I had some bettas in my aquarium and I loved 'em, they're so beautiful, (specially the red ones) that even my msn address is betta splenden! :laugh4:

 

You could call it: la betta... I know, it isn't an original name at all but it was the first that came to my mind.
