yes' date=' that's true 'cos theoretically, you can be promoted! So..do you still work there?[/quote']

No, but I should get the other good soon. They already said I get the job when someone quits and that will not be long.

That's why I mentioned it' date=' because I assumed you were a proud "Catalunyan" (sp.)!!:P[/quote']

oh, I'm not that proud! Well, I like Catalunya, but that's all! And if you want to know... I wasn't the one who asked Ian to have the Catalan flag :P

So who was it??

well, erasmus = an "exchange year"?

nah, i don't know how long it will take me to feel at home...after the uni (if i'll make it of course), i'd like to go and live somewhere. i don't the swiss style, strange to me...country of my dreams is Iceland, i also consider Catalunya though :P you know, Barca!!!

Yeah, more or less. I can go there during one semester (5 months) or 2 semesters (9 months) and the subjects that I pass there will be validated in my "original" university, as if I've done them there.

Why don't you like the swiss style? (being honest I don't know it at all, their style). And why Iceland? what does it have?

hahaha, I remember you're a barçaholic!!! :P

I hope you get this good job soon, but if people quit that easily this job, then seems to mean it isn't that great, right?

So who was it??

You know him... :P

I'm gonna give you a clue: he isn't from Spain.

No. It is because a lot of people are going to out of the area colleges. And thanks.

Ah, I understand... then it's different! ;)

nah, choose that option then, at least you'll know how to study abroad :P

don't know, people are nice, friendly and everything, but memories still bring me back sometimes, to the places where i was living before...i do miss my "ol' friends", our conversations and stuff...

Iceland is beatiful :o just google it and you'll see :P nah, somehow i feel that country just fits to me: beatiful girls :wink3: , great music  and tranquilness...:)

but Barca is still Barca! i'd like to go to Barcelona next spring or summer, depends on time. and of course visit Camp Nou

yeah, I guess it'll be the best one but the problem is they evaluate you as a candidate student to study abroad for telling you if they give you the scholarship or not. It's not that easy to reach, so I'll have to work hard knowing beforehand this doesn't ensure me anything. :uhoh:

I see what you mean but, don't you think you've idealized that place? have you ever been there? I ask you that 'cos I idealized London, and before going there I thought it was so damn cool and so on, but once I was there, I realized of all of its "defects".

Oh, would you come here just to see a good football match?! WOW!

So where's he from? Portugal?

No, no!

He is from your OWN country but he is currently living in Barcelona.

OK. Now it's too easy. Have you met yet?

yes it's true, these 2 places are pretty much my ideals. maybe the reality is not that nice like in my imagination, but i think i'll only know that when i'll visit those places...well, Catalans are pretty much nationalists and temperamental :laugh3: ehm, thought i might be wrong, this is what i heard :uhoh:

as i said, you can reach your aims, you just have to believe ;) you'll be fine Iris, i guess :)

of course we'd go: Madrid cabron salude el campion!

OK. Now it's too easy. Have you met yet?

So, do you know who this member is?

Not yet but we'll meet soon. We've been talking about this question. He'll be the first coldplaying member who I'll meet... I think it'll be weird, though.

Of course. It's "Bart"celona as he's now known.;)

That's what I wanted to say. Sometimes everything is in your imagination and the reality is different to the things that you expected, for the main reason that you expected too much, and then it let you down. Anyway, the best thing you could do is visit these places, so you'll know certainly if they're so great.

haha, Nik, we aren't so natinalists and temperamental? haha, where have you heard this? There're some Catalans who are nationalists but most of them are "nationalists in a normal level" but our nationalism can be explained for the story of our country that is behind. (Don't know how to explain it better).

Thank you, I hope you're right! I think it's a good thing to purpose to oneself high aims... 'cos if you reach them, you feel so rewarded!

hahaha, that sentence! :laugh4: Y'know what? I was in a Coldplay gig where Chris sang: Barcelona 3, Madrid 0... (in the beginning of God put a smile upon your face)!

yes, yes we were discussing that once :laugh3: i even have a recording of that show :o

Barcelona seems to be nearer now, first because of distance, seconded because of my parents who'd like to go there, too. Iceland is really only a dream at the moment, i need money to go there, but i don't have enough atm :/

yes, i've read the history of FCB, the Franco-times must have been terrible for Catalans/Barca

Of course. It's "Bart"celona as he's now known.;)

oh, yeah, Bartcelona!!

He mentioned an Irish pub called: Michael Collins, near to La Sagrada Familia. He told me they play there great British music in live (like Coldplay!) but we aren't sure of the place where we'll meet yet. Anyway, I know it will be soon and...I suppose I'll explain it here on coldplaying ;)

wow! A friend who came with me to that performance brought a digital camera with her and recorded several bits of songs. Unfortunately, she didn't catch that moment! It was funny... and aslo unexpected! :(

Oh, your parents too? I thought it was only your opinion, the clue of coming here!

Well, it's quite expensive to travel (I've spent several money last summer) but try to save a little bit of money, and with time, you'll have maybe not enough money for doing such trip, but at least a little.

Yes, Franco times were terrible in Spain, but specially in Catalunya. We weren't allowed to talk our own language and that was terrible for us. People from here call that period as a "grey period" 'cos it was really bad. We lived with poverty conditions and there wasn't any place for the hope. It was sad, sad.

Good night Nik!!! Talk to you soon, I hope...

I think he must look sad....

I think he must look sad....

Well you are sad!!;)

I am indeed!!!!

just curious... it must be really windy in your computer cause some letters in your posts seem like they're falling... or are they laying down... maybe lazy!!??
