i sometimes talk too much about myself with my friends

i know it's annoying and someone doesn't want to hear it at all

to be honest ...i cant help stop doing that even when i know it's terrible

No, I don't either in my real life or the virtual one but I think it's a question of way of being. I prefer to listen to what people want to tell me than explaining to them things about my life.

I don't think talking about yourself is stupid, but it can makes the conversation very boring while you look quite conceited in the eyes of the person who you're talking to.

I consider it good as long as you have a sort of conversation which you both explain things about yourselves.
