Ouh, and i'd recommend a swedish band called "Sugarplum Fairy"

I had one of their songs on my pc (Sweet Jackie) and i also saw their gig on tv on the other night and i really liked their stuff!

 

Their myspace says that their genre is rock/pop/alternative

the best finnish band: Magenta Skycode.

they remind me a bit of Air and some songs Mew, Cure and Joy Division. They are so great

 

they released their debut album IIIII this year. you should really check them out. the singer is Jori Sjöroos who writes also the songs to another finnish band PMMP and I think he is the best musician in finland right now.

I discovered them from this finnish radio (radio Helsinki) where they can play any songs they want, no lists of songs they would have to play.

 

I can't almsot even believe that they are finnish :P 22 pistepirkko is also worth checking out from finnish bands.
