Ugh, that does NOT sound fun.

No - it definitely does NOT!!:shocked2:

Isn't this a violation of human rights or something?

we have to clean the bathrooms every morning, and i got used to the crowded room... there are 4 bunk beds and another bed stuck in the middle

it's kind of messy but i got used to it by now

u get used to alot of stuff

like, certain things that used to disgust me 2 weeks ago dont really now

hey gal.....you'll stay one year there?:stunned:.............you could have come to Italy...here we're not obliged no more to go on army.......:)

the ppl that are in my base are really great, i had alot of fun there

came back with alot of stories. I think any israeli who gets out of it it missing out on something

:laugh3:.....

@ Gal:2 years??????????OMG.....i didn't do that....for studying....then few years ago the compulsory army became a volounteer experience.........

however...if you have known yet your army friends....you'll be more quiet i think....

Such as what??

bugs, nasty toilets

sharing showers with 100 other girls

lots of dust in the room

stinky towels

used uniform

not washing an apple before eating it

lower standards for food in general

what do u mean about your army friends nicko?

the ppl there are great... team work in essential so we're really united. It's great.... it was a really fun expirience looking back on it

maybe i don't understand well:D........are you going now to the army or no?.....

i said "your army friends" cos i thought you're going now to the army for the first time;)

no... i've been in the army for 2 and a half weeks

im just home for the weekend

and i love all the ppl that i met there, they're all really great

it's a real bonding expirience

anyway, i have to go now

the weekend is for my high school friends. I wish they could be with me there :(... anyway, im off

bye :kiss::kiss:

i'll try coming here tomorrow.... i miss this place

adios

ok:D!!!!ciao gal!!

oh, Gal!

I'm glad to hear you like the new ppl you've met there. these are good news! :nice:

one question: why're you on the army?

im in the army because here it's something that u have to do- every person that finishes high school and is 18 has to go to the army for at least 2 years... being as my country has many problems and we need a strong defense force. If ppl had a choice we wouldnt have the big defense force that we need

so, for eqaul rights, everyone has to go. No matter if you're male or female or whatever... some ppl do get out of it, but, for example, all my friends are going. It would have sucked to be the only one left home while everyone else is gone...

and the ppl there really are great, i had tons of fun with them. Team work was essential so we bonded really well considering it was only 2 weeks. And we live together so I guess getting good friends so quick was a given

anyway, tomorrow morning im leaving again. Maybe I'll be back next friday, i dunno yet. If not than it'll be the friday after that. I hope it's the close friday! It's really hard for me being away from home so much... and the lack of privacy there...

well, i have to get up at 5am tomorrow... good night everybody

have a good week

:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss:

oh and one thing i wanted to say to all u music lovers, is that one of the worst parts about this whole thing is that i dont have any time to listen to music. Im not allowed to listen to music most of the day and once I do get time I like spending it on the phone with my family and friends. I went through the past 2 weeks without listening to any music! :stunned: On the drive home, which was 3 hours, i made up all that time ;)

bye everybody :D

oh, I expected beforehand you didn't want to be in the army, that it was just an obligation, either that girls have to do it... and even 2 years, that's a long time. In my country these things work different, fortunately. Anyway, hope you spend this time the best you can.

y'know? i'm sure you'll remember your entire life the experiences you'll have with the new friends you make there.

2whole weeks without listening to anything? i can't imagine it, honestly. :uhoh: hope you manage that good.

good luck Gal, have nice days in the army with your friends.

hope to see you around soon.:kiss:

Balls.

Ive missed her.

:(

yup. amen to that. but its only temporary for these two years... so gal will come back i assume.

 gal...

back for the weekend again :dance::dance:

im going through a 6 month perioud of time where i'll be back home almost every weekend.... after that it'll be every other weekend  But for now all is good... only 5 nights in the base seems really little after 12 the last time :stunned:

and iris, military duty is obligatory. But I still feel a sense of pride now that im doing it, i feel good about myself. The whole army expirience is changing me for the better, i feel good. I feel proud, and like im giving something back to my country and im actually enjoying it. So it's great

it sucks most of the time

but it's also alot of fun because of the ppl and the whole expirience in general... learning lots of things about yourself. Team effort... the will to do things for others other than making sure everything works for you but works for us as a team....

it's a building expirience

and even though it sucks some of the time, looking back it seems fun and like i enjoyed it. I've met some great ppl

still... i dont wanna go back on sunday :(

i cant explain any of it... it's too complicated

get from this what u can ;)

hey hey :D

i am very satisfied... it's hard to explain

some parts suck, but it's the things that suck that make the whole thing funny, because i usually look at the funny/good side of things, which is, I think, a good thing about me. Other girls just sit and cry and complain all day. Drive me crazy!!

i dont like it when ppl complain so much
