Oh I know how you feel, Jenika. My dad's band comes over to rehearse EVERY SATURDAY. My living room is full of equipment, and my house is tiny. It gets so loud in my house, and I end up staying upstairs or getting out of the house all the time, because it gets so annoying.

Your parents are from Russia??? How cool...

My mom's from Bermuda, and my brother and sister were born and raised there too. My siblings live there now, actually.

Bermudians- I don't know- they like to talk, and since they come by like, every month, they believe in being a TIGHT-knit family.

*edit* EVERY Saturday???? That's tomorrow...

Ooh Annie... your dad has a band? what does it sound like? anything like coldplay? :P

Yep around this time, relatives would come over quite more often than usual (holidays and all that jazz) but so far I've been using the line "Oh I have to study" which is only sometimes true haha

but yeah..... I don't know. I don't really like to socialize with my aunt and uncle because it always seems to be the same kind of questions??

Once when I was six. It's really pretty, and my grandma lived in a yellow house. But the people there can tell right off if your american. All I'd say was "hi" and they'd go: "AN AMERICAN! "

Haha I WISH! :P

Kinda like how my parents would be so fascinated if they see Asian people. There would be some random person and they'll be like 'Oh they're Asian, I like them!'

One of my best friends is Russian.

She taught me how to say "can i borrow a pencil" and "you smell like dirt" but I can never say it right because its fairly lengthy

Yep, real random :smug:

^ Russian is a very hard language to learn if it's not your first language. There's a different alphabet and different pronunciation and stuff.....

Russian was my first language but I speak english and russian equally well, without an accent. Actually I speak english with a slight british accent (I know, like where did that come from?) My best friend's british though.

That's awesome. I wish I was fluent in a different language. I am learning French though.

And my best friend isn't that special.

^^Oh that's cool, do you think you can teach me how to say something in russian?

Yeah I had an English friend who would talk to his parents with his accent, but he'd talk without it at school and stuff. I thought it was lovely haha

Don't worry Jenika, if she's your best friend she must be pretty special because you are cool.

Thats what I like about this place. There's a lot of cool people. I think it's because coldplay fans are generally awesome people *cough*Reillypleaseleave*cough*

I'm bilingual too: English and Cantonese. And I'm taking French (where 25%?? of my courses are taught in it) so when I graduate I'll get a Certificate of Bilingual Studies. Hopefully it'll come in use in the future .... or else!
