Treating your dog like a children substitute

buying them clothes, going to the hairdresser with them, even plan a new house because of the dogs etc....

isn't this a bit too much?

Yes it is!

Ugh I hate it when people do that! It makes me sick...

I feel bad for the dog!

Saw something on TV about that....those people were so sick....they really treated their dogs like a child....spend so many money on them....even called them "Chanel" or whatever.....

I'm not a real friend of dogs......but this is too much and the love becomes torture...

sick those people way too sick....

and if you are one of them.....congrats

I don't think they are sick, to have love for your dog or cat or whatever isn't a problem, or to spoil them but if you buy Chanel, Dior - stuff for them.. that is a bit too much, but it isn't sick to me.

Dog-love sounds pretty... perverted to me! :uhoh: :D

All these women who use their dogs as a stylish accessories, you know, dress them and do them haircuts.... It's crazy. Those poor little dogs look like they're shaggy barbies or whatever else. The dog is a dog, it's insane to dress the dog as if it was a human. I mean, come on, there must be something wild in every animal, even domestic. I wish all people realized that the dog is not a doll and not a fancy-bag.

it's a shame that dogs are now some kinda fashion statement.

those "important" people buy the tiniest dogs ever just to carry them around on their arms... O.o

but i do understand it when people like you and me love their dog very much and also dress them. as long as they really appreciate the dog as an animal and not as a thing you "wear" because it is in.

Yeah, I think it's a bit too much treat your dog as a human...I mean, I know some people who live alone and see their dogs as a real company and stuff like that but I can't see myself having a dog as a brother or sister... :freak: And I think that puting them in expensive clothes or taking them to hair dressers isn't a nice thing...There are so many humans really needing help and some people spend their money, in my point of view, in things that are not necessary...

I think it's really odd and messed up.

I heard on the news that people breed small dogs to have babies that would stay small forever! Breeding dogs to fit in your purse is totally fucked up! A dog is a companion, not a fashion statement.
