Better that than just to go and find "anyone" just to avoid being alone.;)

yeah definitely. you'll never be happy with a person if you're just with them that you dont have to be on your own. i also find this unfair on that person.

It's kinda wrong to think less of a person just because they did something stupid or the act or a certain way or because they did something while angry. You can't do that unless you try to understand why they did what they did or their reasons for acting that way. Once you do you'll probably change your opinion after thinking things through. When people say something "mean" about you or believe someone is stupid or something it's just a quick conclusion they've come to after thinking about the little that they saw or heard about someone, but when they would think things through they'd probably say something different.

So, when people poke fun at you, they don't know you as well as you do, so you should take it really lightly, because they don't know the whole truth and decided to just say something. You know what's good or what's bad about you and if they're right, you can just say "I know," and if they're wrong you can explain to them why you think so. Sometimes it turns out that they know a bit more about you than you think and what they're saying actually makes sense. You just didn't realize it because of something. That's when you should really take someone elses advice and try to change.

If someone told me I could never score a boyfriend I'd be kinda mad, but I shouldn't get too mad cuz

1.) they... probably don't know me that well

2.) boyfriends aren't like... neccessary

If someone told me I had an ugly double chin, I'd be kinda upset but not too mad because, even if it was true because

1.) it has nothing to do with who I am as a person whatsoever, it's just an appearance

2.) they probably don't mean that much harm anyway

I would say who cares and riss above it. Kids can be mean, but who cares they have problems too.

And usually they're poking fun because they're "insecure!!!;)

Very Very True.

My friend came over the other-day and we played Brothers In Arms. Now this is the 1st time I have ever played it before. So about 3 games into it I start kicking his ass. By 15 games I have won every single, but 5 and he gets so mad. He starts making fun of me and saying why I was always winning like "well my guys cannot shoot" and stuff like that. So there is another example of why people are mean. Just because they don't get there own way;)

Sounds like he's a bad loser to me!;)

So, I was arguing with my friend for a few hours over IM and then this thought came to my head. She was mad about how I always kinda say somethings, like "you should pluck your eyebrows" (she really needed too...) or "Noel said you could never get a boyfriend". She said it really hurt her and I had like... no heart or something and I didn't care about the way people felt when I said that. But, it's just her that completely overreacts, and comments like that shouldn't friggin' piss you off.

Here it is:

Sounds like she is very sensitive... some people are very very sensitive. If you tell them something in the most polite way they'll still feel the need in wanting to cry because of it.
