Are any of u all going to this concert?? I'm looking into making it, but I'm nervous about going across the border. Does n e one on here live in the valley?? South Texas??? I've never been into Mexico city and wouldn't wanna go alone. Does any one know of a group of people planning on going??? I really wanna go!!!! Also, the tickets are on Sale on the 6th, does n e one know what the ticket prices range??? Any info would be great, thanx!!! :)

Hi I live in Monterrey, North of Mexico about 2 hours from the Texas border, you should really try to go with more people however you shouldn't feel nervous about crossing the border, my guess is you would fly from whatever city you are coming straight to Mexico, just make a good plan of finding a nice cheap hotel near the Auditorio Nacional

 

as for the prices they haven't said anything, which is really weird because at ticketmaster.com.mx their is not even an announcement or anything, but at the same time it's good since it will give us a nice headstart against most people who don't even have a clue they are coming and will take lots of fans by surprise, my guess is tickets will range from $200-50 dollars since it's a small venue (10,000 seats I think) I also find it very odd that the other countries got 3 nights and we only got 1

yeah, i know, but we get to see them on the last night. I'm a broke college student right now, so taking a flight would be too expensive for me. I looked into buses and it seems fine. I got a couple of friends to come along. My mom keeps telling me that I need some type of permission to go that far into Mexico. The last time I went to Saltillo they asked for something on the way back and we didnt have it. Do you know what their talking about?? It sucks that I'm gonna have to get a passport. I used to work for ticketmaster and sometimes they wouldnt put the event up til the day it went on sale. I have no idea why they would do that. The ticket prices for Brazil are around $65 and up. Are you going to the concert?

I didn't know you had to get a permit to go south of Mexico, we have to get one when we go to the US, if we go further than 20-30 miles something like that and we usually get it at the border and it costs like 7 dollars, my guess is you can get yours at the border, but you should look into it, I'm going to McAllen this weekend so I'll ask if you want me to.

 

yes I'm planning on going to the concert with probably 5-7 more friends, hopefully we'll be able to buy the tickets since it's going to be a bit difficult with only one show, where do you live? do you know how much the bus or buses will be all the way to Mexico City?

yes I bought some camera equipment and it's arriving at a friends house in McAllen today, but I can't go until the weekend, you should look into maybe coming to Monterrey and from here to Mexico City, it's safer and nicer than Reynosa but maybe it's the same as my guess is the trip could be Reynosa-Monterrey, probably San Luis and then Mexico city.

 

Yes they are extremely popular in here however the media hasn't published or said anything about them coming which is really weird, but like I said hopefully it will stay that way until Wednesday

 

As for Otro Rollo I think it is on hiatus, I'm not sure, I hate that show by the way but I did watch when Coldplay went 3 years ago

 

As for the Auditorio Nacional I haven't been there but I do know it's rather small, I've been to Foro Sol and Sports Palace many times, I actually saw Coldplay there in 2003 which is precisely when I became a huge fan before that I only knew the hits.

here in mexico, coldplay has the same popularity as u2 or the rolling stones

auditorio nacional has a capacity of aobut 9,000 people but the tickets will sel quite fast, it's the bests mexican venue since the sound quality it's the best, hehehehe

yep, many people from monterrey are coldplay's fans so i'm organizing this trip which will be using a bus or a van (big van for 15 people) and we are going to mexico city to the concert each person will get their tickets and I'll just organize the hiring and how to arrive to mexico city since almost anyone here has gone to mexico city, i used to live in puebla which is 2 hours from mexico city

HEY!!! They opened up another date on Ticketmaster!!!! There showing 2 concerts. One on Saturday the 3rd and the Other on Sunday the 4th. I hope it's not just a glitch. They still don't have the on sale date. :)

it's been 45 min and there only from the $450-$300 everything else is pretty much sold out, I'm really tempted to buy for the 2nd night also but I also want to go to Roger Waters in Mty and Mexico City
