Plus, I think the message is obviously sent to Coldplay fans, so that means (if this whole theory that Railways is a new song/album is true) theyre saying that their fans would like this new song.

Lighten up. Even if it's not true there's no harm in just guessing and anticipating what's to come.

I'm still up for that "dark, heavy" new album with no more piano. That would be cool.

It wont be Coldplay without some piano... but if their discription of dark and heavy is like How You See The World played live im ALL for it!

"Railways". interesting. I read somewhere that Coldplay are only starting to record their fourth studio album in there new headquarters in January 2007. Considering it takes them ages to record an album (they're such perfectionists), its likely that their new album will only be out sometimes towards the second half of next year.:(

 

On a more positive note, Colpay have another Grammy nomination for their third single "Talk" (Best Rock Performance) nice.:D

 

"Railways" sounds lik a cool album title. Hope it's released soon.

As for musicians saying they're great, why shouldn't they? You work hard, practice endlessly, perfect your craft, and then you're expected to say you're not that good. I'm good at what I do, and I don't mind saying so. It doesn't mean I have my head up my ass, just that I'm proud of my hard work. If ppl in other professions didn't say they were good at their jobs, they wouldn't get hired. The Beatles used to say they'd be the biggest band in the world, and Guess what? They still are! Sorry for the rant, but this double-standard we apply to artists really pisses me off!

Anyway isnt it good to get excited about things like this once in a while? Its not doing anyone any harm, infact i think this is what makes this site so great, is that it has a great atmosphere and buzz. If you want to be grouchy about this whole thing thats fine, but why try to ruin a thread by calling it stupid, and indirectly calling everyone who has posted a commenton this thread stupid? Please, if you are that upset about it, just ignore the thread and let people speculate, why not?
