Have you had a thought about the new Christmas Message, and what Jonny might actually be saying.

 

He says something like (cant quite remember) 'i predict railways will be big in the future'. Think of this as if he were talking about the title of a song, or perhaps... the title of one of their NEW SONGS :) I dont know, just something I thought of... but hey, they could just be taking the piss :D <--- more likely

I mean... think about it... why else would the guys dress up in weird 1900-train-tycoon outfits and Jonny just RANDOMLY prophesize that 'railways' will be big in the future?

Could be an album title too...Paraschutes, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, X&Y, Railways. It just blends right in there,lol.:lol:

Ahhh...or maybe it's both. Here's the daydream: Jonny is actually being random and cool, but Debs reads this thread and suggests 'Railways' as a title. The boys love it, and we've just named the 4th album!!:lol:

Railways is actually a really good album title. It could mean a lot of things and I think it describes pretty well where the band is at the point in their lives...

Yes, that's true. But remember that that was quite awhile ago and it seemed like Will was joking while he said it. Coldplay are notoriously fickle.

A band would have to have their heads pretty far up their asses to say "Yeah, this song we wrote is going to be huge in the future."
