Wow, that news just made my day. I wonder what the boys are doing today - surely they would celebrate someway or another.

i was under the impression that it was 16 january that they got together officially according to the myspace. well, i suppose theyre different events:

This was our first band plan. We wrote it in 1998. You will notice we never won Gary Crowley’s demo clash on XFM. We were always beaten by the Llama Farmers [where are they now?].

 

Papereyes was their song and we all secretly liked it very much.

actually ur right, the 6th was the day Will became a member of coldplay officially, hence the formation of coldplay :D well at least that's what it says in the bio book i have....
