I don't really frequent the official board that much, but is it not the case that most of the people who post there post here too? In which case it shouldn't make too much of a difference to us.

Things I'd like to see on the new official board:

 

1.Will and band members to write online journal again. I always loved Will's tour journal entries.

 

 

2. More frequent updates. They are always so slow in releasing news. I think they'd be the last to know if their own building was on fire. :dozey:

 

3. Put someone else in charge of the Coldplayer. Miller does a fine job, but he just doesn't post enough. I know he's busy with his tour duties. So put someone who can focus on just the Coldplayer ( say like me :D ) and more pictures please. We all know Penny and Miller are sitting on a pile of media, share the wealth! We don't care if was pictures from last year, post em damnit!

 

4. Not sure what they can do about all the twats on their forum. I got so fed up with them, I haven't been there in ages.

I agree, the main coldplay forum is not as fun or friendly as this one. I hardly ever go there. I also agree with Angie. I think it would be better to have someone on staff who works specifically for the coldplayer and updates it a lot. I know this will never happen, but wouldn't it be awesome if coldplay had some type of contest where a lucky fan would be hired to travel the world with them and be solely in charge of the coldplayer when they go on tour (adding pics, journals, sound clips, interviews)? I mean, I like Miller usually, but it would be cool to hear stuff from a devoted fan's perspective.
