I'm trying to help my sister set up her ipod, and its not going very well at all. Its a 2GB Nano, and anyway it says there isnt enough room for all the songs, so in order to get some on there it created its own selection (approx 170 songs) ..but the thing is in the itunes library we're under the max capacity....and when we go to summary, it says we have like 1 GB of 'Other', even after ive restored it and have not put any songs on it yet? its being totally fucked, i have no clue whats going! any ideas?

haha that prob made no sense!

Oh and another question, can 2 different ipods use the same itunes?

Not very easily.

If you have XP, than the solution is simple, get another user account set up, move your music into shared files and then you can have it over 2 libraries for 2 iPods.

That "Other" stuff is the stuff which makes the iPod work I believe.

The other question: you can easily use two iPods with the same iTunes, just plug it in and follow the directions.

I don't know what's up with the 1gb of other ... and "other" isn't what makes the iPod work because that's not shown as files.

I KNOW!!

I bet she put all of her pictures from the my pictures folder on it by mistake!! Check next time!!
