The Pyramids Centre is a well-know music gig venue in Portsmouth

The future of a well-known leisure centre in Portsmouth is to be decided at a council meeting later.

 

The Pyramids Centre swimming pool and concert venue in Southsea could shut as early as October this year, Portsmouth City Council has confirmed.

 

The council said it is already under pressure to maintain other leisure centres and cannot afford the £1.8m needed for the upkeep of the Pyramids.

 

If it closes, the site could be used as a hotel or conference centre.

Well I have never been to the pyramids centre for a concert, and the only time I will go down to Portsmouth for a concert is Jet next month.

Yeah come to Portsmouth it's great...cheapest E in the country apparently!
