Keyboard amp

Featured Replies

I have a Yamaha keyboard and have been looking for an amp for it. The problem is is that they are very expensive and Behringer, although are cheap, I have been told can fall apart easily and it is very hard to get parts for them. So my question is is if I can use a floor monitor as a keyboard amp

Hmmm.....that is very cool that you have a Yamaha Keyboard. Very great string sound. For your queation, I don't know. I am going to get a Keyboard amp soon for a store called Guitar Center, because I cant really use my Guitar amp. So sorry.

Yeah its a MO 8, I obviously love it. I have been using my guitar amp and have not been able to get the sound I want. Keyboard amps in general are really expensive, and I really don't like guitar center. The people there always try to act your age by saying 'man' and 'dude'. They are also really intimidating.

i'd say that a floor monitor would work fine but you still wouldn't be able to get the exact sound you want out of it.

if you want to buy a keyboard amp, try http://www.musiciansfriend.com if you're from the usa. there are some that are just over $100.

i hope this helps
