what? I didn't make a negative comment about your song sounding the same, I shared a similar story. Did you even read my post? (Maybe it was too long...)

Home Recordings
I know what you mean, several years ago I wrote a simple chorus of three chords that I liked, but I was never able to find a good place for it in any of my songs. I'm a big Radiohead fan, and when I heard one of Radiohead's unreleased songs, Videotape, I knew it sounded familiar. The majority of the song is based on three chords... the SAME chords I had used in my previous composition! They were in the exact same order and everything. Not only that, but my idea had been to use my delay pedal's reverse delay function to have some kind of reverse guitar part going, and at the end of Videotape, the piano and guitars are run through a similar effects pedal to make that sound. I'm not trying to take credit for writing such an amazing song like Videotape, but I was just shocked when I heard it and realised how similar it is to something I had written. Anyway, this post got a bit long... sorry. Also, my music is in my signature here, so you can check it out if you'd like to.

SUM 41 rips off Coldplay
wow, i listen to both groups, i've heard both songs many times, and i never figured out the connection there. it's not a completely blatant ripoff but it sounds really similar in many places.

Own Lyrics/Music/Artwork/Anything

a CCC collaboration, a CCCC
both Simon Harris and I were musicians featured on the How We See the World album. I thought those of you who know about it might be interested in hearing two collaborations Simon and I have done. Both are currently on my myspace profile, which is... http://myspace.com/ifiifi. I am thankful for the CCC for providing me with the opportunity to make this music with Simon. Anyway, I just thought I'd share it with you since it involves two people from the How We See the World album. the songs are called "Sing With Me" and "Meaning of Life."

Do you play by ear?
That's how I am. Reading a tab or sheet music gets me more confused than just listening and playing it by ear.

Pictures, webcams, mugshots etc etc etc
i couldn't find any good pictures of me; the only one i could find was when i was on vacation once, so here it is: if you're curious as to where that is... it's the badland national park in south dakota, usa.

Arcade Fire
well, i mentioned that win butler was the star rather than the entire band standing out. it's just my opinion but they seemed like a group acting as one rather than a group led by win butler, and that's what they lost, that quality to their music. like i said, it's just my opinion, and the album is still very good.
-
Arcade Fire
neon bible seems like the win butler show, but it's still good. i just feel like arcade fire lost one of the things that made them so great on funeral. neon bible is a very good CD with several good songs on it, but I don't like it as much as funeral.

Keyboard amp
a floor monitor probably would yes. that of course depends on the quality, but chances are it will sound better.
-
Keyboard amp
i'd say that a floor monitor would work fine but you still wouldn't be able to get the exact sound you want out of it. if you want to buy a keyboard amp, try http://www.musiciansfriend.com if you're from the usa. there are some that are just over $100. i hope this helps

"See You Soon" Cover made by me. Lot of Changes.

my music
i write music... a lot, and some of it i've posted on a soundclick page. some of it might not be a style of music that most coldplay fans like, but maybe it is. i've drifted towards electronic music lately because it's much easier to compose and record. anyway, i'm open to any criticism, so if you want to tell me i should stop making music, go ahead. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=427103 i do NOT sing on any track, it's always someone else. some songs are just ideas, and that's on purpose. i have ideas and i don't know if i should continue or not, or if they're good.

Coldplayers For Coldplayers CD(READ 1st post)
my friend and i made a song almost a year ago that you could use. it's the third song on the list here. it's called "enough too many states away." my friend sang and i did the rest excluding harmonica.

What Should Be The Name Of The 4th Album
pablo says, "hail to the kid computer thief who is an amnesiac with the bends, honey, ok?"
-
Don't Panic Harmonica Tab...
no offense but the harmonica part should take you maybe 20 seconds to figure out. also, not all harmonicas are the same, harmonicas are made in different keys.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
one of my good friends is named chris martin and i used to ask for his autograph about every day. every single time he'd say "what are you talking ab- oh... shut up."
-
which telecaster chris use?
i'll be the first to tell you that '72 tele deluxes are great. i had one before i saw chris use one so don't think that i bought it only because i saw him playing it. (actually i saw thom yorke playing one first!) lol

Guitar pedals
oh, ok. i just had to guess and thought since he replaced it with a tonebender that maybe it was another distortion.
