-Dance band, great time to go and get some food early on

7. the datsuns***

Take a long bathroom break, unless you like a bunch of gimmicky no-hopers doing what Hole did, only (Somehow) even worse.

11. the kills****

GOODDDDD NO! (God no, not Good, far from it) after the millenium its much wise to stay away from bands that begin with The. The Kills are a perfect example of this, so boring, god jesus those bands lack any energy whatsoever.

HAHAHAHAHA- fuck.

13. massive attack*

Yes! Great! Excellent! One of my favourites. Alternative/techno/dance/r'n'b/bass rap, excellent stuff, they dont even TRY to be all these different genres they just naturally are, that brilliant.

16. the raveonettes****

Can you say boring? BORING! BORING! They think theyre doing something great and revolutionary by doing what? Ripping off 50's theme music for horror films. They're terrible, put on one BAD live show too.

17. sigur ròs*

Well worth the money, theyre doing much the same as what Radiohead are doing now (Well, Kid Amnesiac (Teehee) anyway). The lead singer is really talented, they put on a great show.

thanks for the tipoos ;) :) i still dont know which i'm gonna see cos there's no program yet... but you gotta manke time for the big guys!. coughmassiveattackhcoughcough

hurricane festival

Hello!

I'm brand new to this forum, and i hope to provide you with some useful information in english which is not very good:

the day before yesterday i was on the HURRICANE Festival in Scheessel, Germany, and it was FANTASTIC!!!!

The bands you have to go to:

- COLDPLAY - Superb! They also played Amsterdam, One i love, and probably the best song ever - Your world turns upside down!!!! but they didnt play spies... grrrr!

- Bjork - Sweet, a fabulous stage show with lots of strange videos, and excellent songs, especially the new single - its in your hands!!!!! she also played a lot of old songs

- Radiohead - the last band i saw at the end of the 3 days - my feet were bleeding and they hurted, but i enjoyed the 2 hours concert of Radiohead - the longest one on this festival!!!! A wonderful new song (sail to the moon), my favorite song Everything in its right place, and many songs i didn't know! They used various instruments and a nice light show!!! but i'm sorry for u that they aren't at roskilde.

- massive attack - were great! wonderful, what can i say! they rocked!!!! they played lots of songs i didn't know and some i already heard in the radio, but the mood of the crowd was fantastic!!!!!

- i also saw moloko (roisin murphy was fantastic, it was the best concert at the HURRICANE),

Underworld (nice but i only knew a few songs),

apocalyptica (crazy halfnaked guys playing celli - but a special guest was linda lund from LAMBRETTA - she played the new song with apocalyptica and a new version of BIMBO),

Supergrass (always fantastic, as usual),

Anouk (i think she was pregnant but she did a great show and a sweet appearance)

Skin (front woman from skunk anansie - wonderful voice, playing tricks with a camera woman and made jokes)

Tocotronic (i love "Hi Freaks", but it was nearly the only song i new, so it wasn't as good as i expected)

counting crows (a funny singer, nice songs, some nice moments, but nothing great, sorry)

guano apes (the rocked the crowd, and front woman sandra nasic was so exhausted that she hardly could sing)

and last but not least starsailor (alcoholic was great, as well as all the other songs i didnt know....)

goodbye and i hope you all have fun beeing at roskilde!!!!! i love festivals!!!

-

Wow! Enjoy Roskilde! The Mother of all Festivals :D

Asian Dub Foundation always have a great Live-Show, so i would go to see them!

Massive Attack: You should go there! I saw them at the Hurricane Festival and the show was really great.

The Datsuns: mmm...I saw them at the Hurricane, too. the show was ok..they rocked the crowd

If you like "electronic music", you could check out "Console". in fact i don't like this kind of music, but LIVE it's pretty good.
