You may snap me but I've not been a fan of coldplay for so long and I'm kind of indiorant hahah but I have mainly one question:

IS THE = OF CHRIS' LEFT HAND A TATOO??? it's not, right?? I always thought it was but on the last concerts of Mexico he had an X on his hand instead of the usual = and I always thought it was a tatoo cause he always has it in almost every pic and video since X&Y.

 

Now that I'm asking, can you tell me what are those things that chris wears on his fingers??? those things usually blue, red or yellow, what are they for?? I know it must be a stupid question but I don't know (I want some of those hahah)

It's not a silly question at all. The whole reason Chris does that is so that people will ask what it means. The = is a symbol for Make Trade Fair (http://www.maketradefair.com , http://www.oxfam.com ). The tape on his fingers is the same...it refers to the cover of X&Y. He or someone who works with the band magic markers it on his hand. It's not a tat.

 

If someone could explain the X in south America, I was as curious about that as anyone,lol.

I found a great pen and I drawed the = on my hand and I can't erase it hahaha, I don't mind at all except for the teachers of my school, they say only bandits and indians draw on their hands lol

MuchMusic in Canada aired a special a couple of years ago with their show at Kool Haus in Toronto. It had some interview footage including Chris's personal assistand Gillian drawing it on his hand. He joked at the time about the toxins in the magic marker she used and how she was slowly poisoning him,lol.

Current Trade policies in most 'civilized' countries don't favour the poorer crop/textile/goods producers in the world. Fair trade is a policy of economics designed to provide equal distribution of money so that the big corperations aren't getting richer on the backs of the poor. Erm...I'm not doing a great job of explaining it...check out http://www.maketradefair.com there's a much better explanation there.:)
