lol... yes i'm short ... how you knew it? :o i wish i were a bit taller... something like 160.... everybody think i'm like 12 lol... i'm hating it  i don't like all those latino female singers, and i'm as tall as they :dozey:

don't worry...

I wish to be smaller...I generally like shorter people :)

(call me weird...but there it is)

  • Author

kids used to make jokes with it oh.... :dozey: i bet they would prefer to be smaller when they have to walk close to a tree.... i don't have to bend over hehe...

i can't tell you... most people i know are taller than me so... i'm the smaller of my group of friends. but each time that i know someone smaller than me i'm so surprised...

btw peter pan's writer was as tall as me :smug2:

and some artist aren't as tall as they seem.... Mr. Bogart was as tall as my dad... that's like 165, and he seemed to be a bit taller.

I've seen some of your car drawing and are very good ones. ;)

I think you'll get one of the scholarships :)

do you do it by yourself? i mean, there are some kind of things like this that are proposed to teams...

Thank you, thank you:)

Yeah, I do it by myself.

It's been 8 years I started to draw cars. I learnt by myself.

I think anyone can learn how to draw it, it's really easy

Thank you, thank you:)

Yes, I agree that drawing is a skill...a skill that can and has to be developed :)

I draw a bit...but I'm not somewhat interested in it to make it a proffesion...unlike writing.

I'm doing fine...I'm bored to death though.

I don't know how did this day go by...so faaaast.

:bigcry:

I had to do many many things and I did nothing.

and now I feel tired.

and you?

  • Author

you did nothing and you are tired?

well it happened the same here like 3 days ago lol...

i'm ok, tired, 'cause i was tidying and cleaning the house.

i finally didn't went to the book shop as i wanted to.. :(

What would you go to bookshop for?

(lol...well, sun's taken a lot of energy from me today...I was out with a friend and when I was coming home it was so effing hot :dead:!)

ungh...I hate summer...where's raaaain :bigcry:

lol and the next week...it will be even hotter :freak:

  • Author

i was going to buy a portuguese grammar book (i already have a dictionary and a conversation guide, but i still don't feel ready to write or speak in portuguese and i must be able to do it in 6 months..)

well i don't like too hot days too... but i don't hate summer, in summer we have holidays so that's more free time. :) what i don't like is cloudy days with no rain... :(

hotter? lol weather is crazy... hot where use to be cold, sunny where use to be cloudy and rainy hehe.

ah...I hate summer...but not summer vacations

It's just all this heat is driving me nuts...

One minute on the immense sunlight and...I'm tired, I don't want to da a thing.

Gosh, it is so annoying.

I dream of living on Iceland (guess there's colder than here...why, it's got ice in its name lol)

Portugese? :nice:

How many languages do you speak anyways?

  • Author

lol yes our english teacher at eoi told us that he went to Iceland in summer and was very cold there :surprised:

so you'll drive yourself really nuts if you come to my city in summer, as we are close to the sea and in the south of my country, we have high temperatures and a lot of humidity so you feel tired and sweat all the time.. that's really annoying.... but i'm a bit used to it, at least that's the excuse i have to eat loads of ices in summer :nice:

i speak spanish (obviously), english, french... i understand (i can read and listen) latin languages like: portuguese, italian and other co-official spanish languages (valencià, català, galego) except euskera. when i was 12 i wanted to learn german but i never tried to.

i have to learn portuguese 'cause next september i'm going to study in Portugal during 9 months. I understand it when i read or listen to it, but as i haven't study portuguese grammar i'm not comfortable if i try to write or speak in portuguese because i think i'll make loads of mistakes.

i like to learn languages, 'cause as my dad says it always can open you a door more than if you have a degree or not. :)

then Iceland, here I come :nice:

(someday in the future lol)

Ah...well Croatia is no different. :blank: Heat, heat, heat!

And sweat, sweat, sweat...lol catchy formula!

I agree learning languages is quite intersting and good.

I wish that I paid some attention during my German classes when I was back in the primary school...I also wish to learn French

  • Author

which language is spoken in Iceland?

Oh i didn't knew it about Croatia.

how many languages do you speak?.

i enjoy learning languages, i think is cool. may be is easy for me, 'cause since i was 3 i've been able to learn valencià by myself, 'cause i used to watch some cartoons on the valencian tv so i soon learn it and very easily.

experts says that learn two languages when kids are young is good for them, because their brains makes more connections and is more developed.

so according to this my young cousin-niece (really the daugther of my older cousin) could be the more inteligent person in my family, 'cause she'll can learn 2 or 3 languages at the same time (my cousin is spanish but her husband is bulgarian, and my cousin told me that they use to speak in french at home at least a year ago), lucky baby. :nice: :baby:

:surprised:

whoa, indeed.

Lucky kid :nice:

Well...I speak Croatian (and so some others like Serbian, Bosnian lol ...they're very alike), English. I speak a little bit of German & I even studied Italian for a year...but I don't know much.

And finally, I'm now starting to study Japanese. But all in all, the only foreign language that I know is English.

so I'm smart? I learned English from cartoons :nice:

wooo?

yes lucky girl, but i think it will force the rest of the family to learn bulgarian, i'm sure she'll speak in bulgarian when she'll don't want us to know what she is speaking about lol hehe...

yes, i realized here that croatian, serbian and bosnian must be a bit similar, so like italian, spanish, portuguese, french. ;)

Japanese?... it must be hard to study it, i mean don't they have other graphic letters? so you'll have to learn their letter before to study the grammar and vocabulary.

well the way to improve or refresh a foreing language is practice it the more you can, that's how my english improved a lot. :)

you are lucky people, some mates i have from sweden, romania and lituania told us that in their countries the films are not translated, here all the films and tv-series are translated into spanish so people don't know foreing languages very well. :( and they speak english and french better than us. :)

oh, learning Japanese writing system is hard, true

I didn't learn it yet lol

Though a big test is coming up soon. And the grammar is really easy...

About the practice...that's one of the reasons why I'd like to live some time in London :nice:

To meet the culture and the language a bit better.

I hate when tv stations do that (synchronizing) . They practice it in Germany, France, Polland, Italia ...that sucks big time!

so you first learn grammar and then their writing?....

here at eoi we can learn arabic (they also have a different writing system), and students firstly have to learn the letters then the grammar i think....

yes i think that live in a place allow you to meet the culture more than read about it.

Yes.

There is a way to write not using their system.

So first grammar and then writing

hey miro

hullo!

I'm pretty fine, thanks! And you, Reg? :)
