the main forum where all the hardcore radiohead fans gather is a bit daunting

 

i don't go in there much though, one time i did and turned it into general chat and they weren't too happy

 

general chat is cliquey but stupid topics are discussed

 

i'm looking now and we have a ''nostril fucking'' thread

 

music forum is amazing for ysi links

im a newbie. and was a guest for awhile before hand. joined because of my love of coldplay's music and because i felt there was something more to this place than what meets the eye.

 

been a member just a few days and already fascinated by the conversations going on, inside and outside of threads about coldplay.

 

so, just wanted to say, thanks to all the members who make it what it is, and to the one who i quoted, since i was a member before you, welcome :) and hope you enjoy it here, i sure am :D

:laugh3: Those sorts of posts seem to be universal no matter who the musician or celebrity is.

 

But to answer the earlier question, there are people there who can be unusually caustic or argumentative, and some of them very vocally don't like Coldplay fans. I go on messageboards to relax, have a laugh, chat, find out info... not to argue. That's why it scares me a bit.

i know. i've seen there some racist threads as well which particularly annoyed me!

 

maybe the boards changed since i registered dunno. i usually only visit the music section because theres some great links.
