Eavis confirms a headliner has already been booked for Glastonbury 2008

Featured Replies

And its not U2 or Muse

Michael Eavis confirmed to NME this morning that following the huge success of this years Glastonbury, plans are in motion for another in 2008 and a band has already been booked to headline.

Eavis won't comment on who it is but has already confirmed that it will NOT be U2 or Muse, saying 'we don't need U2'.

Interestingly Thom Yorke has been spotted at the Glasto festival over the weekend, so Radiohead are a strong possibility along with Coldplay who last headlined back in 2005. Other rumours (mostly made up by myself) include The Rolling Stones, Oasis, David Bowie, Sir Paul McCartney and R.E.M

Wow!

I Hope that will be Radiohead! What is thom doing there? he's supposed to work on the album!
