Coldplay Tribute to my daughter

Featured Replies

Coldplay has been a staple in our house for several years. Many of you may remember our "USA Loves Coldplay" sign campaign during the last US Twisted Logic show in Philadelphia last year. My three-year-old daughter was a big fan. Tragically she died this week from Acute Liver Failure and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The two illnesses took her in a matter of days. It happened so suddenly we are still walking around in complete shock. We are absolutely devasted. She was our world. My husband quickly put together this tribute video to show everyone how special she was and I thought I would share it with you. Even in our darkest hour we have found comfort through the music of Coldplay. You can view the video at

If you would like to read about her story please visit:

My husband and I both work in television and as a result have always done our best to cronicle Ryan's life. You may also visit a website that we created and updated throughout her life.

Please keep Ryan in your thoughts...she was a one of a kind and I had promised her that I was going to take her to see a Coldplay show on their next tour. Now she will be able to look down from heaven and experience them all.

This such shocking news, it was a pleasure to meet you in Philly and share that experience. I am completely saddened reading this now. My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time. And may Coldplay's music help you through these difficult days. Love always, Barb

I am very sorry that such a thing happened to you. My sympathy does to your family, and it is very great that you are finding comfort in Coldplay.

Your USA Loves Coldplay was one of my absolute favorite memories as webmaster of Coldplaying

That's so unfair, really.

This is something hard.

The video is absolutely beautiful though. A wonderful tribute.

Barb expressed how I am feeling also as I read this terrible news. Our shared experience in Philly was one I will always treasure. I wish I could give you a real hug, but a cyberhug will have to do. Losing a child is a parent's worst nightmare. I am devasted to hear about your loss. Love, Pam from NC

I am so sorry about your loss. She will be missed and just remember she is looking down on all of us and she is in a much better place. Time heals everything. April
