  1. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to travel to NYC to see Coldplay perform on the Today Show. It was an absolutely amazing experience and my second time seeing them on the plaza (2008). They looked and sounded great even though it was super cold and rainy. But as Chris noted....their "from England" so their use to it. Seeing them live seems more exciting each and every time but watching them rehearse is a very intimate and unique experience. I did my best to record as much of the rehearsal as I could so that I could share the experience with my fellow Coldplayers. It's such a wonderful fan community and one that has given me much support over the years. Coldplay has been a big part of my life since I first heard their music back in 2000. Over the years, their importance became very personal and the basis for many fun and loving memories with my daughter Ryan. When we lost Ryan suddenly, their music became my therapy. Every time I see them I feel like she's there with me. Yesterday was made even more special when Chris took a moment to take a photo with Ryan's favorite little toy. The more I see them the more I want to see them. They are addictive for sure. Please enjoy the video.
  2. I'm super excited to be traveling up from DC to see Coldplay @ The Today Show. I was lucky enough to have seen them on the plaza back in 2008. The best part of the morning was watching the rehearsal. Here's some video from that morning. I would love to meet up with some fellow coldplayers.
  3. Someone posted 500+ photos from the UCLA show...lots of great Chris shots http://daverand.smugmug.com/Coldplay/i-8MPsTR5
  4. Dianne, I was curious if you were present at the filming the night Chris' family was at the taping. If so, at the end of ASFOS Chris looks deliberately into the crowd and points at his eye, his love pin and then points outward as if to say "I love you. I was wondering if that was directed at his family.
  5. 1. Howard Stern 2. Zane Lowe
  6. From the moment I heard the lyric "leave a light, a light on" it made me think of Fix You's "light's will guide you home" I'm sure i'm reading into it, but it just struck me that he wrote"lights will guide you home" to help Gwyenth thru a hard time, and now he is lyrically asking that someone leave the light on to guide him thru a difficult time in his life. Just a thought.
  7. I would love to get a link to the bonus tracks. Thanks in advance if someone can PM me.
  8. I hope Chris is in a segment with Jimmy and one of his crazy games.

  12. You are gold...show after show. Hope to run into you today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for checking! I'll keep my fingers crossed
  14. Do you know when the box office open? I'm going to the 9:00 show but would love 2 for the 5pm. Hoping for last minute tickets may become available.
  15. Does anyone know if we can bring point and shoot cameras into the show? I'm traveling up from DC and won't have anywhere to stowe it if I can't.
  16. Do you still need to use your Citi card to purchase or to even see if there are tickets available?
  17. Hey I knew I'd see you in NYC. I'll be at the 9pm show...I'll keep an eye out for you. Safe travels.
  18. I did get your note...I will definitely write you back soon.
  19. I'll be training it up from DC as well Monday afternoon...we have tickets to the 9pm show.
  20. My husband and I each purchased tickets using the same credit card from Ticketmaster Wednesday for the 9pm show. I purchased a single ticket and he puchased two tickets. We just received notice from Ticketmaster that the single ticket transaction has been cancelled. I guess they really are reviewing the transactions and sticking to the two ticket limit. On the good side of things, that means my original single ticket purchase will likely be available for sale again, so I would keep checking with Ticketmaster. Also, we have yet to receive the actual tickets so I don't understand how people are reselling them on the re-sell websites. I would be interested as some friends of mine recently purchased 4 etickets for a concert from a reseller, got to the venue and had 20 people come to their seats with the same etickets = 24 people paid a scalper for the same 4 seats. The venue eventually gave them new seats, which was nice on their part, but they missed about half the show. I've had good luck in the past buying from resellers but after their nightmare I'm afraid.
  21. I'll be standing by @ 10am Wednesday hopefully with a code but.....I too just need 1 ticket. It would mean the world to me! I've been a forum member for a long time and would absolutely be appreciative if someone ends up with an extra ticket. Fingers crossed that fellow Coldplaying.com members get in to the show in masses.
  22. Need some help.... I recently came across a video of Chris walking Gwyneth to her car, gives her a kiss, opens the door her door and then walks away. I believe was recorded in Los Angeles. Does anyone have a link?
  23. I would love to know what the boys are thinking as they look out on their songs coming to life theatrically. This is their Mylo Xyloto Movie. Just stunning. A highlight of their career.
  24. What is this? I wake up and and find out they performed Amsterdam. Angie I thought he told me they wouldn't play Amsterdam. I can't believe it. I'm just going to have to start going to every show like you. I'm glad you were there to experience it. :) Thanks for capturing this special moment. Man...I would have lost my mind if I had been there.
