do you hang up when you reach the answering machine?

Featured Replies

i was just wondering about it.

i just called a friend of mine and sometimes there's obviously nobody at home and the answering machine starts, but i always hang up then for some reason.

i mean, i'll call her again anyway...

yeah, because i hate leaving messages! I sound like a dork

yeah, that's the main reason for me, too

plus, the reasons why i'm actually calling are not important enough :P

Sometimes if the message is important.

I know a couple people whose calls always go onto the answer machine so they don't have to answer the phone and stop working.

yep.. I don't like answering machines

I dont think i've ever left a message..i just alway hang up, mwah. That easier..and just as Grace said: I know i'll call again later so what's the point?

depends on who i'm calling and for what

I love getting messages! But to your questions. I also tend to hang up & send a text message instead & say something like 'call me soon' If by the third time they don't answer and it's very important then yes I do leave a message.

Edit: I voted for the first one 'cause I usually get my calls answered and no need to leave one.

I hate voice mails.. takes too long to put in my password. And I just figure other people are like that too. I'd rather just call back. :P

The only person I ever leave voicemails for is my best friend, and usually thats just so that I can call him a princess and pretend I want to marry him...

I dunno why I do it now that I think about it.

A princess?? Does he actually like that??:stunned:

Does he wear a tiara??

Is it your dream to marry a princess??

Yes, most of the time. :P

Never really liked leaving messages. However, if it is really important, I would just say "call me back first thing you get this" or smth.

But I do like getting messages. Once some guy, who appears to have dialed the wrong number, left this very odd message but it was hilarious! I still haven't deleted it, I just can't hehe. And if you are wondering about what he said, I really can't explain it in English, he was sort of asking for coffee beans and he said some other things about how he's coming to the house to get them and stuff.. but in the weirdest way possible hehe.

Its because I have to patronize him for his lack of guy friends.:P

And I know that he doesn't want to marry me so I like to freak him out a bit sometimes.

You should see my myspace comments, lol.

It's the same for me.

I leave messages only when it's necessary.

I usually hang up, if its not important.

Who voted for: "i don't even have a phone"???
