Chris has a nice accent, and he's from the South, David...but overall I prefer Northern accents.

OK - will the latest Britney CD do??:P

i think i prefer northern accents, most southern people who study here sound extremely posh.

I don't really like Chris' accent :uhoh:

No thanks, I didn't say boobie-prize!:P

Either way.. I can't understand when they speak. :dizzy:

lol. The ones I met from the far north, like the Yokrshiremen were almost impossible to understand.:D

people keep telling me if you understand scousers you'll understand anyone. this so isn't true, i got used to the accent really quickly. then again it would probably be the same with any other accent.

All my friends tease me about my slight British accent. I just say that I listen to too much britpop (please don't kill me)

you'd be well disappointed if you actually went to britain. many british accents aren't nice.

Of the countless different ones I've heard I've almost never come across one I didn't like. I just like them for different reasons.

But Glasgow is still my favorite in the universe. :nice:

I've been speaking with an "American" accent

but all my thoughts are in a British accent

My friend's boyfriend is from Glasgow (lives in Finland now) and it took a while to get used to his accent!

I don't think it's even near to Fran's though! It took really some time to get used to (or even understand) Fran's accent, sorry to say

My accent is very posh sounding sometimes. I get teased for it sometimes, but I always say they're jealous :smug:

I don't even know what my accent is like.. :uhoh:

I don't think it's a typical Finnish accent. But it's not a British one either, nor American. Definitely not posh at all. But i kinda like it anyway

I have a very noticeable southern English accent. I can sound very well-spoken sometimes too :P

I actually envy all foreigners who have a good accent!

But then again all i have to do is listen to some other students talk during my english classes to notice that i should be just happy with what i have.

I could train my accent and refuse to talk with any other accent than the one i want to learn haha.

I think my friends would get really annoyed really fast after my little learning process..

I can imagine they would!

I don't usually like it when people put on accents. Its not right I tell ya!

I love all foreign accents. At least most of them. But especially ones where English is not the person's first language.

Probably Russian would be my favorite though :D
