So, anyone still interested in helping dig up album info for the countdown? If I had a team of about 3 people to look up artwork, reviews, videos, ect. it would really lighten the load all around and make for something special.

I can probably help a little bit. I might not be online too much tomorrow though.

I probably won't be online at all tomorrow- company coming. Will take me a couple of days just to get all the lists together, and then time to compile all the other stuff into posts. Wonder what a good day is for a countdown, anyway?... It's more fun when there's more people around.

Alot of radio stations do their big countdowns on New Year's Day. But we might be too hung over to log on that day,lol.:laugh3:

A couple of days after boxing day was my original idea- time to finish, people are still on vacation, and they've gotten bored of their new stuff by then.

I'm counting it- it's a proper album given an official release somewhere in the world this year, and you're not the only person who voted for it, if memory serves me right. There are actually a number of international albums that were voted for, so rather than sort them out I'll just count them.

6 down, 39 to go, and a snowstorm giving me nothing better to do. ...Well until the power goes out, anyway.

 

Maybe Wednesday is a good idea after all.

Um... at this point I'll say it depends. If it's an emergency I thought that was on my list already, or I just missed the deadline moment, I'll consider it.

 

If it's an oh crap I wish I had thought of that sooner, I'm not even letting myself do that.

 

Mainly, there are a couple of too short lists that need a bit of work... I wouldn't mind those people making changes, but otherwise...

Well after being so rudely interrupted by Christmas weekend :santa: I'm back to compiling now and hope to be done with it tonight. Though it might kill me :mad: (how the hooey does Nik do it so fast anyway. *sings* Oh if I only had an attention span... [to the tune of 'If I Only Had A Brain])

 

Anyway start it tomorrow night, finish Friday afternoon at the latest. Or would Sunday be better? Unfortunately, I had been planning on Saturday, but I won't be here then. :smartass:
