Which Spies version do you like the most? The Parachute LP version or the 1st version?

think the first one is more fast and compact

2 versions of spies?

Are there two version then? Where can i find the first version?;)

I didn't know there were mulitple versions until I watched a you-tube vid of someone replacing the audio of the bigger stronger music video with the LP version of spies. I much prefer the parachutes version...It has more atmosphere and the vocals are fare more refined. I think the tension caused by the acoustic guitar leading up to the riff is far better also.

 

but I'm an even bigger fan though of the live version featuring the haunting intro and the piano outro. It and a rush of blood to the head were so alike in that respect they just kept on switching back and forth between them over the course of the AROBTTH tour.

So true about the live version, its even better than the studio version, and the same with AROBTTH ofcourse. Hopefully they'll realise this time around that those extra solos in some of their live stuff make the song that little bit more special.

 

But anyway, I havn't heard this other version of spies, but from what I'm hearing I would probably prefer the album version, seeing as I tend to like their atmospheric stuff anyway.

They're both amazing, but I like the album version best because it's one of the first Coldplay songs I heard, so It'll always be a favorite.

Well I like both and I've only recently discovered that 1st version. I'm more used to the album version, I like this one most.

the first version is very good kind of.. diofferent to the Parachutes version..

I think this version is faster than thee other..

I prefer the first version.

i always think that in the album Sparks is the sort of "slow song" there and then Spies comes.. and it's another "slow song"

so maybe the first version of Spies would have been better for the rythm of the album..
