well! then coldplay are miracle workers!

i hope the album itself will make many more converts, and re-convert many that have strayed from the coldplay camp.

It crazy though, just announcing the name of the album has put me into a coldplay mood. I watched a live DVD I made of an AOL show when I was falling asleep last night, and then today I listened to X&Y and AROTTH. I'm in the CP mood.

You being in a coldplay mood is starting to not surprise me. You listening to X&Y, thats a first for me!:shocked2: I've been doubting my love for coldplay lately, but the title got me in the mood as well. All i listened to today was coldplay. Good stuff

so those really are the titles for the new songs?

Oh Mama....all this doesn't sound like a 4th album...it sounds as if it was their debut....

it sort of is, of the new "trilogy"

That's good to hear, you've been off them for quite a while though, so listening to them again must be slightly easier than if you listened to them constantly. But have you heard the title they gave the album in the last prospekt entry?

Yeah the new name is a mouthful!

Haha, yeah, seems almost pointless to even abbreviate it

and i like the idea of song for the escapist being a bonus, but as long as it's available somewhere (like the movie soundtrack), then i don't care where it is!

this is pretty hard when there are so many songs to pick from. we know SOME aren't going to make it, which makes me a bit sad...more of those mystery songs like "deserter" etc that we'll never hear :bigcry:

+ Song for the escapìst

^deserter was a potential track on AROBTTH that was never released anywhere. of course, there are probably hundreds of songs in their vault that they've recorded but never have released and never will release, which makes me sad just thinking about it, but somehow i find it even harder when i know the titles to these songs!

^Yeah, it was a song that never made it on A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I think you can see it behind Chris in that video where Jonny goes through his Beebop phase. The name makes the song sound epic though.

Edit: You beat me to it Chelsea :P

oh right, it is on the list in back of chris! that video kills me every time. i couldn't make out any other tracktitles, though. however that's probably for the better.

Y'all talking Chinese to me. Which Deserter, Song for the Escapist? Have they ever been played live? Where did you read/hear the titles???

^"song for the escapist" is a song that's supposed to be in a british movie called the escapist, which is out in the UK on april 11 and the US on april 25. coldplay's never said anything about it, but it's on the soundtrack listing on IMDB.com among other places. i believe that it's legit information, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was just a rumor, either. especially because people have already seen the movie in film festivals and premieres, and the song hasn't been leaked or even mentioned. then again, the people that go to film fesivals and exclusive premiers are probably not going to hear the latest coldplay song and don't even know of its existence.

"deserter" was a possible track to go on AROBTTH, but no one's ever heard it. we know of the title because of it being listed on one of their lists behind chris in that crazyadorable video of when "jonny goes jazz"

oh thank you so very much Chelsea! :nice:

They're so mysterious that they'll make me listen to X&Y. :uhoh:
