To Lock Or Not To Lock?

Featured Replies

I really don't care.

I've always had this point of view: there's no thread limit, the forum will not stop working after a certain amount of threads.

If a thread remains in the new posts a lot it is obviously garnering a lot of discussion. So unless that discussion is hurting or harming someone specifically, then there's no reason to lock it. If it's pointless, it will die on its own.

Just my opinion.

I ignore it. The creator i think is a little mad.......

I think the kid means well. He puts a lot of time into checking back and replying. A little mad, yes, but his heart's in the right place. Either that or he just has WAY too much time on his hands. I prefer him to the average troll though. At least he stimulated some interesting discussions.

It's kind of cute that this thread came back along with the other one, lol.

(Sorry, Girls. Didn't mean to interrupt the Muse-love!)

Nono, it's fine, really. :)

Although I will say, Nick makes a good point. ^^^

Yeah, he does. I didn't even want it locked when I made this thread. There were a lot of people asking the Mods to lock it, so I made a useless poll, lol.:)

well now we have to have a poll to see if we should lock this thread!:P

lock dance!

I don't think it meets any of the qualifications for locking (except the one that states Mods can lock whatever the heck they want,lol.). It's not spam, porn, flaming or random acts of trollyness, so there's really not much more point in locking it than there was in making it in the first place.

Sooo, does that mean we just let it die on its own or what?

and I say no :P

Go on,no need to be afraid.

Sooo, does that mean we just let it die on its own or what?

exactly!

What if people keep posting in it? :smartass:

It'll be an undead vampire thread that sucks the soul out of the forum.:devil:

^ O RLY!?

I CANNOT let this happen.

in theory, yes :)

they have a habit of doing that. i watch with satisfaction as certain threads drop down the board, then they'll suddenly be resurrected from page 10 :dozey:

The problem of locking it is that frodo will only post another thread.

And it's not breaking any rules

^ True, and there are much worse things that he/she could post about.
