Tom's pitch is spot on nearly all the time, while the way Chris sings live is not quite as melodic as in the albums...plus, there are just little things that Tom does and Chris does do that make Tom have a better quality of singing.

Toms voice can't reach pitches that Chris's can, he can't hold the notes as long either.
