The Big Question...

Featured Replies

Although I was one number out (I had 19 instead of 18) in the thunderball draw, if it was 19 instead of 18, then instead of £250 it would be £250,000 :(

That blows.

How freaking close could you possibly get.

Your bad move in the end though. 18 is my birthday (18th Feb) so you should have picked it and you would have won all those monies.

You could have bought me a pizza as well.

Grats on the 250 though, better than nothing ey? :P Bet it sours it a bit when you're so close to 250k...

Although it's better than my former uncle, who once actually matched all 6 numbers in the main lottery...

...on the previous draws ticket, so he won nothing.

Ahh, gutted. That's like something that would happen comically to a loveable yet unlucky character on a TV show.

It's one of the reasons why i buy my tickets in 8 week blocks, so I don't have to remember to buy them every week.

So do you have to wait until the end of the 8 weeks to collect the winnings? Thus the 4 week gap?

Yep, unless I want to cut short the life of the tickets, which I don't really want to do.

Should I go out and get a pizza tonight?

Or should I go digging in the freezer and cook something?

dig a pizza out of the freezer

dig a pizza out of the freezer

That would mean having to cook the pizza.

Although I'm going digging tonight
