Giving it a shot on my old six string. So far sounds at first glance like Db Eb Cm Fm

Any other ideas?

I think the Cm MIGHT (MIGHT!) be an Ab...I have to experiment a little bit, but that's what it sounds like to me, and I have perfect listening pitch.

Yeah. I listened a bit to the cello part, which is the apparent baseline, and I hear Db, Eb, Ab, F. Then again, I don't know about minors and whatnot, that's just the apparent baseline.

Okay, this is a complete tab of mine, about 90% on most of it.

 

The majority of the song follows the same basic chord pattern:

 

Db Eb Ab Fm There may be certain little intricacies, but this is the basic.

 

In the intro, you can sub a Db/Eb for the Eb chord, which I think sounds right, and then they fill in the major as the melody progresses. The melody, you can figure out yourself. You'll also notice a string theme that is a repetition of two notes: These are Ab and G, and you need only play them on the chord progression mentioned earlier.

 

The only part it changes is the minor-sounding part right before the chorus comes in with the "ohhhh!" thing. It is essentially this:

 

Db Fm/C.

 

Two chords. Alternate. When the chorus comes in with the oh's, go back to the regular chord progression. If you must know, the notes of the oh's go:

 

C, Eb, Ab, G, F

C, Eb, Ab, G, Eb

 

So, a the final tab is...

 

Intro: Db - Db/Eb - Ab - Fm

Verse and chorus: Db - Eb - Ab - Fm

 

Minor-sounding strings part: Db - Fm

 

Rest: Db - Eb - Ab - Fm

The bass is playing: Db - Eb - Ab - F
