sam stown
It's always bugged me. In the closing part of the song Chris sings "tears stream down your face and I." This doesn't make sense. Can anyone explain it?
Bonus_mosher
I think it's a shorter fragment of a longer sentance being: "Tears stream down your face, and I will try to fix you."

Fixed
I love the way the 2 parts of Clocks and Fix You connect like that.
sam stown
I think it's a shorter fragment of a longer sentance being: "Tears stream down your face, and I will try to fix you." Actually he could sing that and just drag "try" out a little and it would sound fine. I think now we've cleared that up he should sing this version from now on. I'm sure he'll be studying this site for potential lyric alterations.
